Pre Christmas Party

On december 23rd we were all in good spirits and thought we should throw a mini party to celebrate christmas. Shawn and Teresa were coming to visit with their dog Jade, Sara and Jay came over and Leigha was also able to join us. We all had a blast and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning drinking and celebrating the holidays. Except for poor Rob who passed out on us early.

My good friend Erin turns 27 on December 24th. Hope you have a great birthday Erin and I can't wait to party with you on New Years!

Merry Christmas!!!

Sorry we haven't posted in so long, our camera broke while we were in NB and it has been in for repairs ever since!

We just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas and best wishes for the new year.

We will be going into high gear with wedding planning come January so if you don't hear from us that's why!!

6 months and counting!!

Wow, today is exactly 6 months til the wedding!! I cannot beleive how fast the time has gone and am so excited to become Mrs. Garlough and start a new chapter in our lives.

Turns out Aunt Dalice's 50th birthday was the weekend we'd be in NB so it worked out great. Mom and Art came down from Barrie and surprised her,Grammie flew in from Edmonton and Holly, Greg and the kids drove up for the night. Unfortunately Rob couldn't make it as he had bought tickets to a football game for the same weekend. Oh well, I had a great time visiting with family that I don't get to see often.

Trip to New Brunswick

We had a wonderful vacation with my sister and her family. I must say she has the cutest kids I have ever seen and I had a blast with them and miss them terribly already. Noah is so smart and sings the cutest songs and Kya is beautiful and it's amazing to see how much she's grown. Now to convince Rob to move back so I can be closer to them!! Here are some pics and expect a few posts since I took over 100 pictures of the kids!

Surprise!!!

Our friend Jill threw a surprise 30th birthday party for her husband Shawn on saturday night. We've known about this for months and I must admit I am proud of myself for not slipping up on the secret. He was shocked and had no clue so it was a big success. Good job Jill!! We had a great time; made some new friends, had lots of laughs and partied til the wee hours of the morning!

Havestfest!!

Every September Rob's hometown of Williamsburg has a harvest celebration. They have all sorts of country games like cow pattie bingo but the real fun begins after dark. They put a big tent over the tennis court and turn it into a party with a live band and lots of hicks. This year we were joined with some good friends which made the event even better and from what I can remember we all had a great time.

Wiggle Waggle Walkathon

On sunday September 10th, Rob, Maisy and I took part in the 18th annual wiggle waggle walkathon for the Ottawa Humane Soceity. We raised $90.00 for the walk and had a blast, Maisy made a lot of new friends and a few enemies. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the camera!!

Girls Camping Weekend!

This past weekend I went camping with 5 of my friends, Erin, Steph, Sara, Nancy and Sandra. We went to Erin's site at Tipper's Family campground and had a blast. We drank a ton of booze, laughed til we hurt, went fishing, played silly games and bonded in a way that surprised everyone since some of the girls hadn't even met before this trip. Everyone had a great time and we all made a pact to do it every year during the weekend after the civic holiday. Can't wait til next year girls!!

This past weekend we went camping with Erin and Sean. They have a seasonal campsite near Tweed. The girls went canoeing and fishing. Sean and I sat around the campsite and drank. A good time was had by all.
