Introducing Danica Rae

Danica was due to arrive on November 19th but had other plans and did not make her appearance into the world until December 3rd at 10:07am weighing 7lbs and 12 oz.

She is doing great other than a few issues with breast feeding that hopefully we can get resolved. We are so happy to have her in our lives and are enjoying getting to know her.

Does anyone know?

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo was by far our favourite stop. It is very americanized but so beautiful and reeks of money.
We didn't have anything planned but once we got there we ended up doing a 45 minute tour by boat of Los Arcos and Lovers Beach. We also got to see tons of sea lions on this tour. Best part is it only cost us $15/person!
After that we decided to tour around downtown and ended up at Cabo Wabo. For those that don't know this is the bar owned by Sammy Hagar. Rob really enjoyed himself here and really took Mas tequila!! to heart. I almost had to carry him back to the ship!

Mazatlan

In Mazatlan we did the Stone Island Beach excursion. We took a boat from the pier to the land and than hopped on a wagon pulled by a tractor that took us to the beach. It was about 33 degrees that day so a perfect day to soak up the sun and go for a swim. This was our first time swimming in the Pacific and boy were those waves big and the water was freezing!! We sucked it up though and had a blast playing in the waves. Nice thing too is that this excursion had open bar!!

Puerto Vallarta

This was our first port. After 2 days at sea we were glad to see some land!
In Puerto Vallarta we did a walking tour of downtown, toured a ceramic factory and shop, and visited a tequila factory. I think this was Rob's favourite part of the whole trip!! Of course we did bring back 3 bottles.

Golden Princess

On saturday April 12th we boarded the Golden Princess for our free cruise that I won!! We didn't know what our cabin was until 2 days prior!! We ended up in an inside cabin which was fine by us. I slept so good, nothing better than being rocked to sleep at night!!
This was our first cruise with Princess and I must admit that it was better than Carnival. After we did that cruise we said we'd never cruise again but we did enjoy Princess and will probably take another cruise with them in the future.
My only complaint was that you had to pay for ice cream!!
Being a travel agent and doing the Princess Academy course got me preferred status on the ship, which means we were able to board within 10 minutes of checking in, got free mini bar, 10% off shopping, free internet and free laundry!
